The Centro professionale del Verde and the Cantonal Agricultural Farm of Mezzana celebrate the 110° anniversary with a series of events and activities. open to the public. Today more & that never before has the green sector represented a dynamic area full of prospects. Mezzana, with its CPV and the AAC, confirms itself as a point of reference for those who want to undertake an agricultural, botanical or forestry training.
Not è only the contact with nature to attract more and more young people towards these careers: the growing integration of technologies and innovations makes these professions even more & interesting and accessible. This is demonstrated by the participation of eight classes of the elementary schools of Balerna and Chiasso, who on Friday; will be involved in workshops dedicated to breeding, beekeeping, dairy, botany and silviculture.
At the same time, the CPV will proposeà specific conferences on phytoprotection and new technologies aimed at students and professionals in the sector.

The Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May, the doors of the CPV and the AAC are open to everyone. The activities proposals will allow you to interact directly with apprentices who work in the agriculture, gardening, forestry, horticulture and floriculture. Guests of Honour will also be given to the Ticino teams of landscape gardeners who will participate in the SwissSkills 2025 in Bern.
The Higher Specialised School of Hotel and Tourism in Bellinzona also take over; part to event, enriching the offer with training proposals and practices related to sustainable tourism.
